Squeaky Shiny Clean is committed to making this website usable for everyone, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice control, or keyboard-only navigation. We want booking a clean to be just as easy for every neighbor in the San Gabriel Valley.
Our commitment
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We review this site regularly and work to fix any barriers we find or that are reported to us.
Measures we take
To support accessibility, this website is built with the following in mind:
- Semantic HTML. Pages use proper headings, landmarks, lists, and labels so assistive technology can understand the structure and read it in a logical order.
- Text alternatives. Meaningful images include descriptive alt text, and decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers so they do not add noise.
- Keyboard navigation. Every interactive element, including links and buttons, can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone, with visible focus outlines so you can always see where you are.
- Color contrast. Text and important controls are designed to meet the WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios so they stay readable for people with low vision.
- Readable, responsive layout. The site reflows on phones, tablets, and desktops, supports zoom without breaking, and avoids text walls so content is easy to scan.
- Reduced motion. Animations are subtle and automatically turn off for visitors whose devices request reduced motion.
How to report an accessibility barrier
If you run into any part of this website that is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, please let us know. Your feedback helps us fix problems quickly and improve the site for everyone.
When you reach out, it helps to tell us the page you were on and what gave you trouble, so we can find and fix it faster.
Limitations and feedback
While we work hard to make every page accessible, some content provided by third parties, such as maps or external links, may not be fully under our control. If you encounter a problem with any part of the site, please contact us and we will provide the information you need in another way.
We welcome your feedback and treat every accessibility report as a priority.
